One of those projects I started and only worked on in between other projects. Finally pulled it together. I love making stuff with all sorts of things to spot and draw attention. The fireplace is not lit so it's not a light source. This started as an extremely non committal trash sketch of the mother vampire so the anatomy in this is just skewed proportionally. I think if I'd started with the intention of making something 'finished' on the page it would have come out far better.

...then she said in the most awed of tones, a whisper from her heart "One day, mother, I will see the sunlight."
I watch the room grow lighter with her as we listen to the dawn in fear that one day she just might.
